Big Ambitions, Bold Experiences

We believe in making learning exciting at Mappleborough Green! We strive to engage every child, injecting energy into lessons and nurturing a strong sense of self-worth.

Using the framework of the New Curriculum introduced in 2014, we crafted a unique, inspiring thematic curriculum designed specifically for our pupils.

While we prioritise essential skills, we also provide a wide range of opportunities in art, design, science, technology, and drama to ensure a balanced education. As a Church of England school, Christian values are at the heart of everything we do. We work tirelessly to create rich learning experiences that help children become confident, well-rounded citizens.

At the heart of our curriculum is a commitment to providing powerful first-hand experiences that ignite curiosity and bring classroom learning to life. Every term, we enrich our ambitious thematic curriculum with a carefully planned trip or an expert visitor, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to connect their studies to the real world. For our younger learners, we make the most of our rich local heritage with visits to venues such as All Things WildWarwick Castle, and Selly Manor. As children progress through the school, we venture further afield to iconic locations including Kew Gardens and the Houses of Parliament, ensuring our curriculum remains vibrant, memorable, and inspiring for every pupil.

We love learning outside the classroom and utilise our amazing local environment. We have a fantastic partnership with The Heart of England Forest and even boast our very own forest area on school grounds! This beautiful setting is a marvellous place for children to build confidence, imagination, and teamwork skills.

Our innovative use of technology, including significant investment in iPads and Chromebooks, ensures a dynamic and modern learning environment for all our pupils.
