Our Governing Body
The governing body strives to provide effective governance for the school through:
- Strategic leadership that sets and champions vision, ethos and strategy.
- Accountability that drives up educational standards and financial performance.
- People with the right skills, experience, qualities and capacity.
- Structures that reinforce clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- Compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
- Evaluation to monitor and improve the quality and impact of governance.
At Mappleborough Green we achieve this through termly meetings of the full Governing Body and its resources sub-committee which deal in detail with the main aspects of the governing body’s work. From time to time, working groups with a specific focus are established, such as understanding data, or other school development priorities.
Mappleborough Green is committed to having an active board that is diverse, inclusive and reflective of the community we serve.
Should you wish to contact any of our governors you can do so through the school office - please leave a sealed envelope with Miss Ricketts.
