Our curriculum for Reception children follows the EYFS framework, focusing on essential skills while building social and emotional confidence.

We cover key areas through a blend of teacher-led activities and child-initiated play:

• Communication & Language: Developing strong speaking and listening skills.
• Personal, Social & Emotional Development: Building relationships, confidence, and self-awareness.
• Literacy: Focusing on phonics, reading readiness, and writing skills.
• Mathematics: Exploring numbers, shape, space, and measure through practical activities.
• Physical Development: Developing coordination and a love for active play (indoors and outdoors!).
• Understanding the World & Expressive Arts & Design: Exploring our surroundings, developing imaginations, and expressing creativity through art and play.
