Welcome to our Class 2 webpage! We have a fantastic team of teachers and support staff dedicated to making learning exciting and fun every day. Here’s a quick guide to who will be teaching the class when. Mrs Empsall (our Science Coordinator) teaches Science on Tuesday afternoon.

Important PE Reminders:
- 👟 Wear Your PE Kit: On Mondays and Thursdays, please ensure your child comes to school wearing their full PE kit. This helps us maximise our active time and means no time is wasted changing clothes!
- 🏷️ Name Labels are Key! To prevent lost property mix-ups, please clearly label every item of your child's PE kit with their name.
- 🤒 Let Us Know: If your child is unable to participate in PE for any reason (e.g., they are feeling unwell or have an injury), please inform the Class 2 staff with a quick note or message.

HOME LEARNING
Thank you for your continued support in relation to your child’s home learning. As previously, homework is set on Mondays to be completed in time for the new week.
Please find below the homework requirements for the week:-
Regular reading with a parent, every night if possible. We request that parents record reading on Boom Reader.
- Monster Phonics reading. This will be set on Friday to be completed by Monday. Monster Phonics Reading will be either an fiction e-book, a non fiction book or sometimes both. We ask that this reading is again added to Boom Reader.
- Maths on Numbots – a minimum of 10 minutes per week. We suggest that your child does no more than 20 minutes a week.
- Mrs Owens will set a topic related homework every term. Please check Class 2’s Newsletter for the dates it will be given out and the date when it should be returned.
