This information aims to provide clarity and transparency to pupils, parents, and carers regarding expectations for home education whenever a student or group is required to learn remotely. The school will make arrangements to ensure your child's education continues smoothly during any necessary school closures or periods of isolation.
The remote education provided at Mappleborough Green is designed to closely mirror the classroom curriculum. It is carefully sequenced to ensure that children obtain the foundational knowledge they need to progress to the next stage of their learning journey.
The ‘remote curriculum’ is a broad term for any learning that takes place outside of the physical classroom setting, without the teacher present in the same location as the children. The specific delivery method of our remote curriculum is adapted based on the subject content being taught and the age and developmental stage of the pupils.
